Review: Delphin Singapore Vacuum Cleaner Company Complaint in Strait Times Paper

Last week I was taking my lunch at Civic Centre Woodlands, I pass by Delphin booth at Fair Price with my friend after lunch.

Two of their China promoter was there asking me do I need free gift, no need to pay or do anything just give them my address and phone number. As I recall from my previous experience, this kind of company normally do is selling vacuum cleaner. I believe in one thing, nothing is free in this world and sure there is catch for a free thing. Of course acted blur and say yes why not and filled in my detail. Than my friend that stand beside me, whatapps me . He told me this company is a scam company and was publish in the news. That took me aback as I thought is just a normal company that sell vacuum and I planning to buy one either way so I were happy to fill in the detail. My instinct told me trust my friend as he say will show me the article when we are back in office. So I tell the promoter can I come back later to fill in my detail and take the gift? He started to get agitated and sarcastic say if you don't want just say don't waste my time and my detail card. I was like what the hell you asked me to fill in earlier just because I say I will come back later you sound like a hooligan. The way their service their potential customer I give them zero point.

Just to share with my reader, below are the new article that my friend show me from "New Straits Times Singapore"
or you guys can read from this links also Delphin Errant firm .So I count myself lucky when my friend holded me back(need to treat him limkopi for this =,=!!).Further research I do, I found out this company is a blacklisted company by Consumers Association of Singapore(CASE) refer to this link CASE Blacklisted Company .With a company background like this, I was shock that they can still survive till now.
Their CEO is also quite infamous in Singapore. I believe some of you guy do read "therealsingapore" or you can read more about her Zhang Run Zi at this link .

Another thing I found out their product is from China rather than from Germany as they claim in the website. They have a factory in China and it write they produce Delphin product. So how can you claim you are made in Germany when your factory is in China????China = Germany to them maybe hahaha.

See for yourself - Delphin China Company

I hope my article will help more Singaporean from being cheated by this company. Don't make a silly mistake and regret later.

  1. Hi! Your link in singaporemotherhood is broken. I searched for your post because my wife and I were just blinded last Saturday to buying their vacuum cleaner. A whopping 3k +! Amidst all the tightening of our financial belt, we agreed to buy this at an installment of around 150. Then I realized- wait- I refused to join a private gym to save; my wife could not replace his Iphone4 to save... and here we were buying a vacuum cleaner worth 3k! We sent a letter of cancellation but do not know how it will go. do you know anyone who managed to cancel the sale?

    1. You have to email them asap so as to have a copy of evidence. Previously my auntie also did a cancelation after realising that the after service was 0.
The sales person was never found after selling the machine, moreover many empty promises.

After which you can call them to ask for a refund from them, they will find excuses to push away but you have to be persistent.

  2. My advise is send them a letter of cancellation within 5 day of purchase as there proof than just go to CASE for them to handle for you as they are the expert on this kind of matter.Btw try contacting your bank to dispute the installment or get them to stop it.Your bank should be able to help in a way.I never posted at singaporemotherhood before.Where did you find my link?maybe some reader helping me to share to the public :)

  3. Hi guys, I was also approached by one salesman at the airport yesterday,he said the gift was free just to help him promote the brand Delphin vacuum cleaner. As I was in a rush, I didn't have time to read the contents properly and just gave him by address and HPcontact number .When I reached home, I was scolded by my family members for being negligence and lured by the free gift. (My kid has torn the plastic cover off but I still haven't use it yet) Later ,I regretted and decided not to fulfill the appointment which they book for me. Do I have to return the gift back to them as I have no time to do go down to their office to return. Please advise what should I do?
