Sex vs Physical attraction

Sex is easy. Physical attraction fades. The intoxicating effect of infatuation dissipates. What's remains when the dust settles and two people are left facing one another? Friendship? Trust? Free communication? A path to tomorrow? Too many people shoot up on the lust drug and can't handle what happens when the high is gone. Men and women are walking around like addicts, clinging to anyone who will have them, lowering their standards for a quick high. Giving up anything for a fix. Self inflicted pain doesn't always happen in the physical form. The next time you find yourself hurting because you can't find someone that contributes to your happiness, don't ask yourself what you're doing wrong, think about what you're not doing right. Once the storm blows over, if you're not standing on stable ground, it's probably because you were sitting on the same corner, getting the same drug from a different dealer. You have to change things in your life, if you want to see different results.
